AGC Automotive Americas (AANA) is a leading supplier of automotive glazing for the OEM and aftermarket industries and is part of the AGC Group, the largest global glass supplier employing more than 50,000 worldwide in approximately 30 countries.

Summary of Position:

AGC Automotive located in Alabaster, AL is seeking a qualified Material Handler (Warehouse Specialist) to handle materials in a safe and orderly manner and assist with the timely fulfillment and delivery of products.

Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Specialist will primarily support the following activities:

• Stock production work cells with raw materials.
• Operate Forklift to move materials.
• Practice all safety guidelines, policies and procedures at all times.
• Required to support FIFO when stocking component racks, or production work cells.
• Must maintain a clean safety record.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Support any other function.

The Warehouse Specialist may also support the following activities:

• Stock production work cells with glass to produce products for sale to customers.
• Operate Forklift to move materials to component racks.
• Move finished goods from production work cells into either finished goods, or quality inspection areas via forklift
• Perform Mapics transactions in support of glass movements to work cell.
• Support the Shipping Department by loading and unloading trucks, when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent and basic math, reading, and reading comprehension skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 3 years of forklift experience is preferred.

• Demonstrated know-how on all paperwork.
